by George PERRY "Conchology, or the Natural History of Shells" "Spondylus" Original etching and dotted manner printed in color and retouched with watercolor and tempera, from the collection entitled "Conchology, or the Natural History of Shells" published by George Perry in London by the publisher William Miller in 1811. It is one of the most valuable printed works on the subject, appreciated both for its scientific content and for its magnificent illustrative apparatus, rare to be found on the antiques market.
